benefits of belonging to the CARGN!

The Aim of the CARGN is to provide resources, support and mentoring to those with a passion and a commitment to change the lives of those in need.

SHARING KNOWLEDGE

The global nature of the CARGN and its unique diversity means belonging to this network gives an opportunity to share knowledge and ideas.  Members can ask for feedback, discuss a situation and learn from those who have been before.  It ensures too that the 'wheel is not reinvented'.

INCREASING YOUR CONNECTIONS

Networking builds your connections not only with members but also those who are connected to them.

PROMOTING THE WORK

By sharing how you are changing the lives of children, youth and families in crisis, you can promote your organisation to others. A CARGN logo, Facebook Page and video assists members to do this. Members are also promoted on our website.

STRENGHTENING INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Strengthening existing and building newly established relationships means that the individual and organisation members gain confidence, reduce stress and build creativity.

NEWSLETTER

Members receive an informative newsletter that provides the latest in practice and policies, advice and member care. They are also individually or collectively notified of new developments in their field. Membership is free and through an application process. Members should have knowledge of and support the Convention on the Rights of the Child, Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children and its Implementation, and The Hague Convention on Adoption.
