HELP US to train key leaders, who will then return to their own countries to train others in best care practice for Children at Risk.
YOU have a unique opportunity to sponsor national trainees to our International Train The Trainer Seminar from 11-22nd May 2015, in Bangkok. While many have registered from ‘western’ countries, there are many more nationals, for example from Nepal and Vietnam, who have expressed an interest to attend.
This 10 day Train The Trainer Seminar will be a wonderful experience for nationals to expand their knowledge, develop new skills and increase their understanding in child care practice. Several have made a commitment to then train child caregivers in their own countries!
Nepal is one of the poorest and least developed countries in the world, with an estimated 30% of Nepalese living below the poverty line – some 82% of its people live on less than US$2 per day. One of our prospective trainees is a key leader in a local charity that includes a day care facility and family support.
We have discounted our training costs, accommodation etc. for nationals, and are asking for contributions towards the cost of AUD400 for training fees and a resource book for each trainee.
Eight sponsors at AUS $50, and we have the funds to ensure a key leader from a developing country attends this seminar!
